Sydney, a 7-year-old yellow lab, has her hind leg dipped into paint to make a final paw print on her canvas during a portait painting session at Ingham County Animal Control in Mason. For a donation of 75 dollars, pet owners can have their pet participate in the Picasso Paws fundraiser event at the shelter. Paintings will be displayed at Lansing area pet-related shops. Proceeds will help pay for surgeries and medicine for animals at the shelter.
